Bio-models using neonatal animals are used to study diseases and treatments affecting similar human and animal populations; these bio-models extend to subsequent early life stages. Lomir manufactures jackets and associated equipment for these animal models. They take into account the needs of the newborn animal in terms of species specific behaviour, such as nursing and social housing with mother and litter mates, and accommodating changes in bodyweight. Careful consideration is given to fabric selection, design features and keeping ancillary equipment as light as possible.
Special requirements for jackets include soft and comfortable fabrics, while hook-and-loop closures allow for adaptable sizing and body weight changes. Please contact us for more information.
